Naras Eechambadi joined CSG in December of 2008 as part of CSG's acquisition of Quaero, a customer engagement agency that helps its clients use customer insight to increase customer engagement, loyalty and value. Today, Eechambadi is responsible for all aspects of Quaero's business operations, which enable clients to shift from traditional campaign-driven marketing to the real-time multichannel customer interactions that create dialogues, improve the customer experience, and increase overall customer value.
As the founder of Quaero, Eechambadi is one of the most recognized thought leaders and innovators in marketing today. He was a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002 and the winner of the Stevie Award for Marketing Executive of the Year in 2009. Eechambadi is the author of High-Performance Marketing: Bringing Method to the Madness of Marketing, Kaplan Professional Press, 2005 a valuable resource for executives and companies who desire to become more customer centric through more effective marketing. He is on the Editorial Board of CustomerThink and on the Founder's Council of DigitalMarketingOne, one of the top three CRM related web sites. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the EcoHealth Alliance where he chairs the Development Committee. The EcoHealth Alliance supports local scientists worldwide doing innovative research on the intricate relationships between wildlife, ecosystems and human health.
Prior to founding Quaero, Naras was a senior vice president at Wachovia (now part of Wells Fargo) where he created the organization's knowledge based marketing group. He also worked for McKinsey & Company where he launched the CRM practice, BBDO Worldwide as Associate Director of Marketing Sciences and The Bases Group (now Nielsen BASES) as Vice President of New Product Development.
Eechambadi has taught at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Connecticut, Stamford and has been an invited guest lectuer at Yale, Duke, UNC Chapel Hill and Georgia Tech business schools.
Naras received his PhD. in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a masters degree in management science from Northwestern University.
