Yahoo! announced at Ad Week in NYC this week that it will spend $100M on a global brand campaign to connect with you (I mean, Y!ou).

Personalization.  How long have we been talking about this?  Anyone remember Point Cast push technology? Yeah, that long. When Yahoo! made the announcement about the new campaign focused on personalization and "connecting directly with customers", CEO Carol Bartz compared the Internet to “scrambled eggs” which Yahoo can help unscramble for consumers.  Huh?  I don't even know what that means.  Google's been sunny side up for the last decade while Yahoo! just stopped investing in technology altogether.  When you reheat the same old eggs, no matter how much you spend on them, they're still the same old eggs.  No actually, they're worse...now they're more expensive, reheated eggs.
